2010 Orin Swift Shatter, Grenache

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This is a Grenache made from French grapes by Orin Swift itís a very dark Grenache of ruby red with a huge nose.  The nose starts with loam and barnyard but moves swiftly to black candied fruit, cedar, and leather, which is earthy and comforting.  The wine is full bodied on the palate with a wonderful mouth feel that coats you palate.  The fruit is forward and lovely with acidic layers in the middle then a lovely medium tannin but long finish lasting up to a several minutes.  Must have more of this.

Score: 94
Cost: $ 30
