2005 Château Ste. Michelle Eroica dr. loosen Riesling

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

Color is a golden early harvest straw.  The nose is a subtle fruit with a hint of acid.  The taste runs to the sweet side, apple, pear.  You expect a acidic finish but a longish sweet ending is your reward.

2004 Columbia Crest Grand Estates Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

Sometimes you need something adequate to drink when ever you want but don't want to wait for it to mature anymore.  The Cabernet is it, at 9.50 a bottle with most reviews pointing at a drink now advisory.  My notes:

Nose, subtle slightly medicinal, currant.  Strong finish, tannins, tasty middle with dry start.  Very nice body medium not to heavy.  Cut the olive oil of the pasta and ranch on the salad.  Not overly complex almost feels and tasted like a vin de Table.
