1998 E. Guigal Cote-Rotie Brune ET Blonde

> Lookup on Cellar Tracker

This well-aged Cote Rote is still a wonderful ruby red.  The nose is huge with layered chocolate candied black fruit, then leather, peppercorn, then black olive.  The body is full with glycerin, and lovely soft fruit with acid and a layered tannic finish.  Itís an exceedingly vibrant wine after 14 years in bottle.  Decant and wait for the nose to appear before drinking.  It is at the point where to should be consumed.
